The St. Agnes Religious Education Program is in place to help students grow in their faith and spirituality; to bring them into the community of faith, its life, worship, symbols, and practices; and to pass on a shared set of Catholic values. Students in Preschool through
grade 6 meet on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 5:15 PM (starting
Sep. 20).
Families are invited to share in the celebration of the Eucharist at our monthly liturgies. See calendar for specific dates. Click here to see what our students learn. Sacraments Our sacramental programs include preparation for and celebration of First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation. First Holy Communion: At St. Agnes, the 2nd grade religious education classes include preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Preparation for these sacraments is also available for older students who did not celebrate First Communion during their 2nd grade year. Please call for more information. Confirmation: The St. Agnes Confirmation program consists of two phases. The first year of preparation is typically completed during a student’s 9th grade year. Students entering the second year in our program, or 10th grade, must have previously completed Phase I or be currently enrolled in Catholic high school.
