Advent Giving Tree is Here

Our gift tags are in sealed baggies for your choosing, next to the Advent Christmas Tree. The holiday season is a time of happiness, joy, and peace. However, for those less fortunate, it can be a time of sadness and despair! We ask that you join together with your Parish family as we attempt to bring the joy back on Christmas morning to needy families and Stand Up For Kids, a homeless teen organization right here in San Diego. We ask that all gifts be turned in by December 18th . Please return your gift card back to the Advent Christmas Tree donation box, next to the tree. Or drop off your gift to the parish office secured mailbox.

Children’s Liturgy enriches our children’s liturgical experience of God’s presence in the ritual proclamation of the Word.
Before the Scripture readings, children ages 4-10 will be called forward and sent with a blessing to Room 1 in the Faith Formation Center to continue the liturgical celebration. A trained liturgical leader reads the same Scripture readings as those in church and will explain the readings in a manner that encourages the children’s growth, understanding, and Love of God.
